![]() ![]() Mikleo shares an interest in ancient history with Sorey, and the two of them frequently engage in lengthy discussions and debates that exasperate the others. Hard working and determined, he constantly practices to make up for the fact that all of the other seraphim have decades to centuries of experience over him. He thinks of Sorey as both his rival and his best friend, and their other companions observe that he is much more likely to get fired up if Sorey is involved, with the implication that it is because of how much he cares for him. Because of this, they complement each other well. Mikleo is analytical and notably calmer than Sorey, thinking more before acting and quick to aid Sorey when necessary. ![]() In his future form, he has longer, curlier hair and sports a black undershirt and brown gloves, together with an altered version of his earlier clothing. His pants are white, apart from the ends, which are blue. Beneath his bangs, he wears a golden circlet with a green gem in the middle this formerly belonged to his mother, Muse. Muse then went running to Zenrus with Mikleo in her arms and asked if he could take him in to become a seraph. Muse begged him not to kill her child, but he did anyway. He was refashioned into a seraph when his uncle, Michael, killed him as a sacrifice for Maotelus. Mikleo was, in fact, not born as a seraph, but as a human. He is voiced by Ryouta Oosaka in the original Japanese version of both the video game and the anime/TV show adaptation, and likewise, by Michael Johnston in the English dub of both versions (though he goes by the alias Philip Lamont in the credits of the latter). His true name is Luzrov Rulay, meaning "Mikleo the Enforcer". He is a calm and composed individual. Alisha Diphda is the first human outside of Sorey that Mikleo has met. He is a childhood friend of Sorey and also considers him his rival. Because he is a seraph, Mikleo is invisible to most humans. For instance, Lailah cannot talk about previous Shepherd or Maotelus, in exchange for her purification abilities increasing.Elemental Supporter Mikleo (ミクリオ Mikurio ?, "Mikulio") is the deuteragonist and a Water seraph in Tales of Zestiria. Seraphs can also make 'blessed domains' which protects an area of land but some domains, like Dezel's can summon hellions instead reasons unknown. Complete dragons can be seen by humans and cannot be purified by purification anymore. When a seraph completely succumbs to malevolence, they will turn into dragons, unlike humans who turn into normal hellions. For example, if a person drowns, they may be reborn as a Water Seraph. ![]() A previous Shepherd, Pawan, stated that humans can become seraphim once they die but it depends on how they die. Seraphim can live for more than centuries, unlike humans who live only to a few decades. Every seraph has control over one of the four main elements, which are Fire, Water, Earth and Wind. Some seraphs can take the form of an animal but most resemble humans in appearance. Now, most humans believe they are extinct or are legendary and celestial people.
